Analysis of trihalomethanes in drinking water
For water quality testing and product quality control! It is possible to determine whether it meets environmental standards.
Our company measures trihalomethanes in drinking water using headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-GC/MS). We conduct quantitative analysis of trihalomethanes contained in water products and environmental samples. Trihalomethanes are a general term for organic halogenated compounds that are derivatives of methane, and the water quality standards for drinking water target four types, including chloroform. It is also possible to estimate the origin of water quality from the data of the contained components. 【Water Quality Standards for Trihalomethanes】 ■ Total Trihalomethanes: 0.1 mg/L or less ■ Chloroform (CHCl3): 0.06 mg/L or less ■ Dibromodichloromethane (CBr2Cl2): 0.1 mg/L or less ■ Bromodichloromethane (CHBrCl2): 0.03 mg/L or less ■ Bromoform (CHBr3): 0.09 mg/L or less *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
